I am pleased to announce that the Jupiter Medical Center Surgical Weight Loss Program has been re-established with the full support of Jupiter Medical Center!

The program officially opened on October 1, 2007, and our “first” patient will be undergoing weight loss surgery next week!

Our comprehensive program is recognized by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence and will be participating in the Bariatric Outcomes Longitudinal Database Study. Our program combines emotional and nutritional support services as well as Bariatric Certified nurses, physical therapy and wellness services.

As a hospital based program, we are contracted with most major insurance companies and have staff dedicated to assisting you navigate the approval process.

We offer ALL appropriate weight loss procedures including Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass, Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding (Lap-Band®) and Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy.  You can be sure that you are getting the operation that is right for you – not because it’s the only one we offer!
